Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) will host the fifth edition of Qatar International Motor Show at Qatar National Convention Centre on February 6-10, officially sponsored by Commercial Bank of Qatar.

Evolution resonated perfectly as the show continues to refine its offer and presentation just like the leading automobile brands that will showcase their latest models and technology.

“The fifth edition is the most attractive for Qatari companies and international exhibitors compared to previous shows,” Hamad Al Abdan, Director, Exhibitions, QTA, told a press conference at Marriott Marquis yesterday.

“The past editions have given us a solid learning and experience that give us the confidence to say that visitors will experience a whole new level of thrills and entertainment in the fifth edition. Our location, the international business environment, our developing infrastructure, availability of venues, number of growing hotels, and our readiness to hold international events were always important elements for attracting event planners to come hold their events in Qatar,” he said.

“The country offers virtually everything meeting planners and delegates need for success and memorable experience.”

Ibrahim Abdullah Al Malki, Chief Entreprise Officer, q.media, said, “The fifth edition of any annual event is a landmark as it proves the popularity and sustainability of the event. Today, it is a privilege to be part of a team that has strived hard to make this such an outstanding success.”

Aleix Salvado, Qatar Business Manager, Fira Barcelona, echoed similar views and said: “The fifth edition is a spectacular event that will amaze visitors, including those who were at last year’s event. We are confident that this edition will be the most memorable by far.”

QTA, q.media Events, Fira Barcelona and other associates are making preparations to ensure the success of the event.

Dean Proctor, EGM, Retail and Consumer Banking, Commercial Bank, said, “The bank’s sponsorship of the show demonstrates our dedication to serving the needs of Qatar’s growing local and expatriate markets through our consumer lending business. The bank is proud to support the event and our continued sponsorship reflects the bank’s long-standing commitment to vehicle finance in Qatar where our department and sales team continue to lead in service and innovation.”
