The Qatar Taekwondo team won a silver medal and a bronze medal in the three-day 2023 World Taekwondo Beach Championships, which took place in Chuncheon, South Korea, with the participation of 178 players representing 26 countries.
Qatar participated with two players, Othman Boularas and Noor Nizar, where Othman Boularas won the bronze medal in the poomsae category (over 30 years old), and Noor Nizar won the silver medal in the high kick category (under 17 years).
Qatari taekwondo player Noor Nizar has won the gold medal in the South Korea Open Championship for taekwondo this month, and Othman Boularas won the silver medal in the poomsae category for men.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) after the coronation, Noor Nizar said she managed to win her third medal this month despite the strong competition in the tournament between players from all over the world. She also thanked Qatar Taekwondo, Judo & Karate Federation for their support.
