The Qatar national team continued its preparations for the 2019 Copa America, which will be held in Brazil from June 14 to July 7.

Qatar are set to play a friendly match against Brazilian team Madureira on Sunday in a behind closed doors match.

Brazil defeated Qatar 2-0 in a strong friendly game at Mane Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia.

Qatar play in Group D, along with Argentina, Paraguay, and Colombia.

The national team camp is held in Portobello, Rio de Janeiro, where the team will complete preparations ahead of the tournament.

The Qatari Squad include: Mohammed Ahmed Al Bakri, Abdullah Abdulsalam, Ali Hassan Afif, Yousuf Hassan Ali, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Moin, Tamim Al Muhaizah, Saad Al Sheeb, Abdul Karim Hassan, Pedro Miguel, Tarek Salman, Boualem Khouki, Hassan Al Haydos, Akram Afif, Hamed Ismail, Al Moez Ali, Bassam Al Rawi, Karim Boudiaf, Assem Madbo, Sultan Al Brik, Abdel-Aziz Hatem, Mehdi Ali, Salem Al Hajri, Abdul Rahman Mohammed and Ismael Mohammed.
