Doha team won the women's category title in the NEOM FIBA 3x3 Challenger 2023 for the Trios of International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which is being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and concludes on Saturday, 4 November 2023 with the participation of many Gulf and international clubs in both men's and women's categories.
The Doha team was crowned with the title after a 19 - 7 victory over the Saudi team, Al-Riyadh, in the final match.
The Qatari team performed strongly in the tournament and was able to reach the first round after topping its group. The team beat the Saudi team, Jeddah, 21-2 in the semi-final match.
In the women's competition, the Qatari team 'Lusail' ranked third in the overall standings after failing to reach the final match with a 12 - 15 loss to the Riyadh team in the semi-final match.
