Aspetar signed a partnership agreement with the Algerian Football Federation today, under which the leading hospital in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine will provide its services to the players of the Algerian football team according to the latest international standards.

The agreement was signed by Aspetar Acting Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, and President of the Algerian Football Federation Kheiredine Zetchi, in the presence of international players Riyad Mehrez and Yasin Brahimi and a number of officials from both sides. Under the agreement, the players of the Algerian football team will benefit primarily from the medical support provided to the team during the competitions by Aspetar medical specialists. Algerian football team players will receive preferential treatment for various Aspetar services including sports medicine, surgery and rehabilitation services, taking advantage of the latest research in performance, sport and other world-class services provided by the accredited hospital as a center of excellence in sports medicine from FIFA.

Commenting the signing of the agreement, Aspetar Acting Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari said that Aspetar is proud to continue this fruitful cooperation with the Algerian Football Federation for more than eight years, during which Aspetar was a good supporter of the Algerian national football team in his career to compete in many continental and international competitions, the most important of which is to accompany the Algerian team during its training camps and the competitions of the World Cup in South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014, as well as treating and examining many Algerian football stars by Aspetar.

Al Kuwari added that Aspetar continue its mission to support the sisterly Republic of Algeria in achieving its football ambitions by providing the best specialized services to the Algerian national team, wishing the team the best in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. For his part, the President of the Algerian Football Federation Kheiredine Zetchi said that the Federation is delighted to be here to sign this agreement with Aspetar, hoping that it will benefit both parties. For his part, international player Riyad Mehrez, the star of the Algerian team and Manchester City English club said that he is happy about this agreement with Aspetar and thinks that it will be of great benefit to the Algerian players, adding that what Aspetar team provides as services and support to players is the best in the world. Since its establishment in 2007, Aspetar has been working to provide the highest level of services for the treatment of sports injuries, using state-of-the-art facilities and equipment and the support of world-class medical personnel.
