Following a 2-0 win against Oman on 24 September 2023, Qatar's beach volleyball duo Ahmed Tijan & Cherif Younousse achieved another 2-0 win against Iran on 25 September 2023 securing their spot in the semifinals.

The match set scores are 17-21 and 19-21, with a total score of 36-42 in favour of Qatar. Their next match is scheduled for 26 September 2023 against Kazakhstan.
