The Qatar Sports For All Federation organizes the 5th Qatar Youth Football League in conjunction with the activities of the Qatar Sports Day 2020. The League is organized by the Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and its competitions will continue until next April.
Qatar Sports For All Federation announced Sunday the opening of registration for the tournament, revealing that the 2020 edition will be played on Aspire stadiums for the first time after it was organized in the past years at Doha Stadium.
The Federation confirmed that the tournament will be held for Qatari players over 16 years of age who are not professional or registered in the Qatar Football Association for the 2019-2020 sports season.
Qatar Sports For All Federation determined the number of players in the team, with each team consisting of 9 main players, provided that the list includes a minimum of 14 players and a maximum of 20 players.
The Director of the Qatar Youth League Abdullah Al Dossary said in remarks on Sunday, that the Qatar Youth League will provide an opportunity for Qatari youth to play football professionally by providing the appropriate atmosphere by organizing a tournament at the highest level where the matches are managed by very distinguished referees, and medical care will be provided during the championship matches, in addition to providing training places for the teams that register early to reach the best readiness, which contributes to raising the level of competition in the league.
