World Health Fund office in Doha

The Paris-based non- governmental organisation, World Health Fund (Fonds Mondial de La Sante) is planning to open a regional office in Doha. The WHF has appointed Dr Naseer Shahir Homoud as its new vice- president. The announcement was made by Dr Elhamy Elghandour, President of WHF at a gala dinner recently held at La Cigale Hotel . Elghandour said that the new vice- president has been authorised to take initiatives to open a regional office of WHF in Qatar. He also announced the name of Dr Asma R Al- Alami as manager for Qatar’s office. The WHF delegation was in Qatar at the invitation of Dr Naseer Shahir Homoud, CEO and Managing Director of Spanish International and Trading Business Centre (SITBC), The Wall Real Estate Investment and Development and Consultant Dental Center (CDC). During the official trip, the delegation met with Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah and Minister of State for Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed Saleh Al Sada. Elghandour put forward a number of investment proposals during the meeting.
