The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), an initiative of Qatar Foundation (QF), has announced the dates for the next edition of its flagship biennial Summit, which will take place from November 19-21, 2019, in Doha, Qatar.
The biennial WISE Summit brings together more than 2,000 thought leaders, decision makers, and practitioners from a variety of sectors around the world – including business, politics, civil society, and media – to contribute to shaping the future of global education. Past keynote speakers at the WISE Summit include then-US First Lady Michelle Obama, former UK Prime Minister the Rt Hon Gordon Brown; former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard; and His Excellency António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
WISE was established in 2009 as an international, multi-sectoral platform for creative thinking, debate and purposeful action. The initiative’s programs, research, and advocacy work offer the global education community a unique opportunity to meet, share, and grow innovative practices that address pressing challenges in the sphere of education.
