Qatar National Day (QND) is just around the corner. To celebrate, Uber Qatar is encouraging riders across Doha to ‘Share a Ride, Share the Pride’ to help reduce traffic jams during the festive season.
What's more exciting is—they’re giving one lucky rider FREE Uber rides for a year!

Between December 17 (today) and 18 (QND itself), use an Uber and share a ride with your family and friends to attend the various celebrations around Doha for QND 2018 and share a photo or video to wish Qatar a happy National Day.
One grand winner will be randomly drawn from qualifying online submissions on December 19 (Wednesday) who will win free Uber rides for a year. The winner will be announced on the following day (December 20).
Don’t forget to use the 'Multiple Destinations' and 'Split Fare' features to make sharing a ride better for everyone.
You can divide the fare amount with up to three people directly in the app (although they’ll all need their own Uber accounts) simply by swiping up, tapping your selected payment method and then choosing Split Fare. You can enter the names of those you’re splitting with and they’ll receive a notification to accept before the ride is up.
The Multiple Destinations feature allows you to add up to two extra stops along your route, so you can pick friends up and then drop them home again without any hassle. All you have to do is tap the + symbol next to your destination to make an extra box appear, and you can then enter your additional destinations. You can also add, change or remove your stops once you’re on the move using the app.
