The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) announced in a tweet on April 19, 2022 that three warehouses in Birkat Al-Awamer have been temporarily closed due to violations.

The closure will be for 14 days each which was issued due to operations of commercial activities without possessing the required licenses.
