Get set for an exciting and eventful summer in 2018! Summer entertainment city 2018 is going on at Doha Exhibition and Conventional Center to make your summer more colorful. Spread out over 29,000 m2 of the spacious ground floor of the DECC, the City's key features include the world’s largest bouncy castle, synthetic ice skating rink, bungee trampoline, 12 skill games, biggest virtual reality setup, exciting rides, video games, live entertainment shows and many more. Dates festival( Until August 4)

Are you craving for sweet treats? Then head over to the dates festival at Souk Waqif to have some healthy treats.

Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) agriculture section has organise the third edition of the local dates festival at Souq Waqif running until August 4 to coincide with the dates production season in the country.

The festival, sponsored by the Souq Waqif management, is part of the MME’s efforts to maintain the cultural heritage of the country and attract more tourists, in addition to encouraging farmers to preserve and develop their palm trees and keep them in the best shape possible. It has also been accredited as an annual event that promotes interaction among farmers in the field and serves as an excellent platform to exchange related experiences.

The festival is displaying all types of Qatari dates and the participating farms are showcasing their produce for sale throughout the event. The festival is be open to the public daily from 4pm until 10pm throughout its duration.

Worldwide Brunch Tour at the Ritz-carlton, Doha

Following the success of The Farmers and The Super Hero Brunch last season, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha continues to raise the bar and innovate on the brunch concept with the launch of The Worldwide Brunch, starting on Friday, July 20th.

Gardens of Al-Andalus exhibition

Created by Fundación de Cultura Islámica (FUNCI) - the Islamic Culture Foundation of Madrid - the exhibition highlights the importance of gardens in Islam and displays the plants, tools, and gardening methods used by Muslims in Andalusia.

The Gardens of Al-Andalus exhibition opened at the Qatar National Library (QNL) in Education City, highlighting the importance of gardens in Islam and displaying the plants, tools and gardening methods used by Muslims in Andalusia. The three-month exhibition, created by the Islamic Culture Foundation of Madrid (Funci) and being held under the patronage of HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, QNL, will run until September 7.

Al-Andalus generally refers to the area of the Iberian Peninsula governed by Muslims from the 8th century to the 15th century, which gave its name to the modern region of Andalusia in southern Spain, according to Funci. The Qur’anic Botanic Garden brought the exhibition to Qatar after it was shown in various countries in the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf.
