The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will put up a number of temporary steel bridges between Doha Down Town and the North of Doha where the Lusail project is taking shape. Several existing bridges in this area would be replaced with steel bridges which would give way for permanent bridges and tunnels later, Al Sharq reported. As part of the development project in the area, Ashghal is planning a number of diversions to ease the possible traffic congestion in future. “Several bridges and tunnels would come up in the area as part of the diversions. The steel bridges are being built as temporary solutions.
