Temperatures this weekend will be affected by fresh to strong north-westerly winds in most areas starting from Thursday until Saturday (17 -19 January), predicted the Qatar Meteorology Department, according to The Peninsula.
This cold spell is expected to be the coldest so far this season enhanced by the wind chill effect which will make it feel even chillier with temperatures set to drop to a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius this weekend.
Qatar Meteorology Department urged everyone to be cautious, avoid going to sea and to stay tuned for latest updates.
