The Metrology Department has forecast a hot day with wind and dust blowing during daytime today. The bureau warned of strong winds in all areas and poor visibility due to dust blowing inshore, and strong wind and high seas offshore.
The maximum temperature is expected to be 39 degree Celsius in Doha while the maximum tempeture in Al Ruwais is expected to be lowest in the country at 32 degree Celsius.
The speed of wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly 15 to 30 knots, reaching 35 knots at times, offshore will be northwesterly 15 to 25 knots, reaching 30 knots at places. Visibility will be 04 to 07 kilometers, decreasing to 02 kilometers or less at times at places. The sea state inshore will be between two to four feet reaching five feet at places, offshore will be five to eight feet reaching ten feet at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report.
