Modaris was founded by Haitham Al-Haidari and Yasmin Kassem in 2015. The process of booking a tutor through Modaris takes less than a minute. Students can pick from a list of tutors based on their profiles, experience, or availability times. Tutors respond within a matter of hours. Both high school and university students can use Modaris to cater to their specifications.

According to Al-Haidari, QITCOM and the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) have provided indispensable networking and funding opportunities to Modaris, which is helping them to help more students in the country.
