Qatar’s premier hotelier introduces its latest luxury boutique hotel experience
Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), the exclusive hotel collection owned by the Al Rayyan Hospitality group, today launched Al Bidda Boutique Hotel, a five-star luxury property located in the heart of Doha’s renowned Souq Waqif. Al Bidda marks the fulfilment to SWBH’s commitment stated back in 2012’s inauguration as it opens doors to public, marking the sixth of seven hotels to launch under the SWBH brand in Doha this year. The launch ceremony was attended by senior representatives from Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and loyal press members whom toured the unique property experiencing what Al Bidda features, from impressive open spaces with remarkable high ceilings to direct skylight intrusions, reminiscent of a traditional Arab home, complete with rich wood, arabesque chandeliers, and fixed walls of woven straw, fused with modern 21st century technology and contemporary designs. “We are delighted to announce the launch of an additional member to the collection under the SWBH brand. Offering a total of 19 rooms and 13 suites which feature superior facilities and the finest furniture and supplies by leading international designers, Al Bidda offers everything from an impressive dining experience through to a casual coffee, a bakery, and even an Italian restaurant- coming soon. The hotel also offers guests complimentary Wi-Fi, Doha’s first duplex floor facilities and is designed for easy wheelchair usage, making the entire property easily accessible. Guests were surprised with experiencing Doha’s state-of-the-art patisserie and bakery outlet by distinguished French Chef Benoit Laboureux, 25 years of intensive patisserie practiser in addition to stating that this is the Chef’s initial visit to a Middle East destination. The event also saw the roll-out of the unique SWBH loyalty program- Elite Class at SWBH.
