Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, the celebrated social icon in Doha, invites epicureans to experience ‘Taste of Morocco.’ The food festival will last for five days and introduces inventive Moroccan cuisines with live cooking stations and extensive buffet, while relaxing to live Qanun music.

The Moroccan food festival begins Friday (Jan 27) until Tuesday (Jan 31) at Al Hubara restaurant in the Doha’s landmark 5-star hotel. Chef Issam Seddoq, Executive Sous Chef at Sheraton Grand Doha, will take foodies on a culinary-inspired Moroccan journey, featuring an assortment of classic Moroccan flavours and delights from old delicacies such as; the tagine, a slow-cooked savoury stew infused with flavours from the many culinary cultures in Morocco’s history, the national dish couscous, and Pastilla the official dish of the city of Fes, that combines sweet and salty flavours in a pie, with shredded savoury meat slow-cooked in a broth and seasoned with spices, ground almonds, cinnamon and sugar.

Throughout the wide variety of tasty Moroccan cuisine on offer there will be meat, chicken, fish and vegetable dishes offering big flavours, aromas and varieties of spices; all complimented with sought-after Moroccan mint tea.

The ‘Taste of Morocco’ is open for brunch on Friday (Jan 27) from 12:00 to 15:00 and Friday (Jan 27) to Tuesday (Jan 31) for dinner from 19:00 to 23:30. Guests can experience the food festival for QAR 285 per person including soft beverages.
