Qatar National Bank (QNB) yesterday announced 50 percent discount on Qmiles redemption (the reward points of Qatar Airways’ loyalty programme) for the bank’s co-branded MasterCard credit card customers. The ‘Credit Card Redemption’ promotion intended exclusively for QNB Qatar Airways co-branded MasterCard credit card customers runs from May 3 to June 2, 2009. During the duration of the promotion, QNB and QNB Al Islami co-branded MasterCard credit card holders who are Privilege Club members can redeem airline tickets to any destination of any category at 50 percent of the regular Qmiles required. For instance, a round trip to Dubai worth 6,000 Qmiles can now be redeemed using just 3,000 Qmiles. Airline tickets may be booked or upgraded with a one-year flying window from the date of booking. To benefit from this promotion, QNB customers must process their bookings online during the promotion period through the Qatar Airways Privilege Club website (www.qmiles.com).
