On 5 January 2024, a plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in the city of Al-Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt carrying 37 tons of aid, including shelter supplies and food supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity, in preparation for transporting it to Gaza. This brings the total number of aircraft to 59, totaling 1,851 tons of aid.

This aid comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s support for the brotherly Palestinian people and its full support for them during the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently exposed to.
