Department of Meteorology warns of low visibility with misty/foggy day until 6 pm on Friday 12 February. Based on the latest update, sky seems to be clearing up fast.

Offshore, weather is expected to be hazy with scattered clouds at places, warning of expected strong wind with high sea at Northern areas.

Wind inshore will be mainly northwesterly 07 to 17 knot, gusting to 22 knot, offshore will be northwesterly 10 to 20 knot reaches to 25 knot at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometer or less at places at first.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 5 feet at times, while offshore it will be 3 to 6 feet, rising to 8 feet at times.
