Qatar pledges usd 50 million global refugee forum support palestine

H.E. Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation, announced on 13 December 2023 at the Global Refugee Forum by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees that the State of Qatar pledged USD 50 million in response to the humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The pledge will be in support of the refugees, displaced people, injured individuals, orphans, and others affected by the aggression in Gaza.

H.E. Al Khater also announced, on behalf of Education Above All Foundation, its new initiative to provide 100 University scholarships for students from Gaza to continue their education in Qatar through the Al-Fakhoora program.
