The Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Qatar announced on 26 February 2024 that sports equipment used in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ was donated to the Republic of Kenya. His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Mutair Al-Enezi, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Kenya, personally delivered the sports equipment to the Kenyan government representative at the port of Mombasa.
