Qatar developers converge under one roof for 'Google IO Extended' event!

Google Developers Group (GDG) Doha, held the Google I/O Extended' event, on July 31, 2018 (Tuesday), at the Digital Incubation Center headqurters in Doha.

Google I/O is an annual event taking place in Mountain View, California, encouraging the growing number of developers worldwide to connect. It consists of talks, learning sessions and announcements related to Google’s latest developer products - an agenda awaited by many tech enthusiasts.

A satellite event that takes place in many cities around the world, Google I/O Extended features the live streaming or videos of the I/O event in California. It’s a great opportunity for developers to connect, learn new things and get inspired.

The event included a series of talks, demos and VR activities. Attendees learned about Google Assistant, Data Studio, TensorFlow, Material Design, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning, and AIYProjects among other topics.

It also featured an inspiring recap of this year’s Google I/O with insights from guest speakers and local tech communities, such as ArabWIC and IEEE.
