The Ministry of Municipality announced on 4 January 2024, that a fine of QR 25,000 will be applied to property owners that leave vacant land or abandoned buildings unfenced.

Failing to fence vacant land or abandoned buildings, which distorts the landscape is a violation punishable by law (25.000 QAR).

Properties left as such without a fence are considered a violation of the Public Cleanliness Law as they distort the landscape.
