Flexibility, privacy and a personalised travel experience are being offered by Qatar Executive for travel to Jeddah or Medinah to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-Al-Fitr holidays.

The business jet division of Qatar Airways has seen considerable demand for its luxury travel service since the start of the Holy month, a press release said yesterday.

With its fleet of all-Bombardier private jets, Qatar Executive allows travellers to conveniently reach Makkah from Doha or other destinations in the Middle East and to perform Umrah within a day.

A key advantage of travelling with a private jet consists of being able to choose one’s preferred flight times, allowing passengers to travel early morning and return home in the evenings, to avoid overnight stays for those with little time at hand, said Qatar Executive.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker, who also heads the airline’s business jet division, said: “Private jet travel for Umrah has steadily increased in the past years, but this year has been exceptional.”

“For travellers, who are pressed for time and looking for a convenient means of travel for Umrah, Qatar Executive provides an ideal solution, and we are delighted to serve our clientele during this special season,” he added.

Qatar Executive private jet travellers can also avoid queues and time-consuming travel formalities as the personalised service includes the convenience of booking an aircraft in as little as four hours before departure, access to premium lounges and check-in only 10 minutes prior to take-off.

Apart from convenience and saving time, Qatar Executive promises “unparalleled inflight service, which has made its private jet service a preferred choice among religious travellers.”

The executive jet division offers the services of VIP cabin crew experienced in serving CEOs, celebrities, heads of state and royalty. It promises to serve passengers with “strict adherence to Islamic values and make sure religious requirements are taken care of. Customers can expect the highest levels of genuine hospitality, without the service being intrusive, so that passengers feel at ease and can enjoy their privacy.”

As the Umrah season and Eid holidays are the time of the year when families traditionally travel together, Qatar Executive’s fleet offers two aircraft types with different capacities to perfectly accommodate group and family travel, the press statement said.

Qatar Executive’s Challenger 605s with a single cabin configuration can accommodate up to 11 passengers, and the more spacious Global 5000s or the luxurious Global XRS with a two cabin configuration have a capacity for up to 13 passengers.
