Msheireb Properties announced that the historic Eid Prayer Ground in the Msheireb Downtown Doha development will be open to the public for prayers during Eid al -Fitr.

“The Eid Prayer Ground represents a key link to Qatar’s cultural and religious traditions and Msheireb Properties is conscious of responsibilities to preserve this, even in a modern development. Indeed, it is an excellent example of ability to combine successfully the most relevant features of past, present and future,” a company statement said.

Msheireb Properties is a subsidiary of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.

Eng. Abdulla Hassan al Mehshadi, Chief Executive Officer at Msheireb Properties said: “Given our aim to revive Qatar’s heritage traditions, we see the opening of this holy ground as a cultural symbol bringing the community closer to one another especially for a holy occasion such as this. It is also an excellent example of our ability to combine successfully the most relevant features of past, present and future. We are looking forward to welcoming all worshippers there.”
