The Web Portal and the E-services of the Ministry of Interior won the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award-2018 among the best governmental e-services in Gulf region and Middle East. Staff Maj. Gen. Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, Director of Public Security received the award in the annual ceremony of His Highness Sheikh Salem AlAli AlSabah Informatics Award held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah on Monday 26 November.
This achievement of the Ministry of Interior comes as a result of the development and modernization system led by the Ministry to improve the performance of various services to the citizens and residents in the country, using the latest technologies that save time and effort and ensure the delivery of services smoothly and easily.
The web portal of the Ministry of Interior has provides its integrated electronic services with high quality, enabling its visitors to obtain information, conduct transactions electronically and pay the fees directly in a few moments.
The E-portal provides 216 e-services to individuals, companies and institutions in the public and private sectors. These services include: Citizen Services, Entry Permit Services, Traffic Services, Residence Services, Security Systems Services, Civil Defense Services, NOC Services, Travel Notification Services, Reporting Services, Smart Card Services, Public Services and Community Policing Services among others.
