The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the sale, through a public auction, of confiscated vehicles that have completed the legal detention period in the Industrial Area. The auction will take at the vehicle detention facility, Street 52, Industrial Area, from February 25 and continue until all vehicles are sold, the MoI has said through a public notice available on its Twitter page.
The auction will take place from 3.30pm to 9pm.
An auction card can be obtained from the above-mentioned site in the morning from the first day of the auction until its conclusion, according to the notice. The auction committee will continue through the week except on official holidays and weekends. The details of all such vehicles are deleted from the records of the General Directorate of Traffic and there are no legal or financial restrictions, the MoI notice adds.
The public announcement includes a list of conditions to be fulfilled for taking part in the auction.
