The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs called on all Muslims in the State of Qatar to look for the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, Shaban 29, 1443 AH according to the Qatari calendar corresponding to April 1, 2022.
In a statement on 30 March 2022, the committee called on those who see the crescent to come to the committee's headquarters located in the building of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Al-Dafna area (Al-Abraj) and to submit to the committee to investigate the sighting of the crescent to testify.
The committee will hold its meeting immediately after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer.
