Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has announced the seizure of discarded fishing nets discovered near Al Aaliya Island.

The discarded net contained diseased fish. It was removed by the Ministry, and cleaned the surrounding area.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change appeals to the public to report environmental violations and abuses, and any neglected nets at sea, by contacting the call center no. 184, which operates 24/7.
