Unstable weather due to a deepening low in the upper levels of the atmosphere is expected to affect the country between Tuesday night, February 23, and Wednesday evening, February 24 with chances for isolated rains that might become thundery at times.

Moreover, northwesterly fresh to strong winds (15-25 gusting to 35knots at times) is forecast to lash Qatar between midday Wednesday until Friday Evening (26-2-2016) causing high waves (7-12 feet) with a chance for blowing dust that may reduce visibility to less than 3 km in some areas.

In addition, a slight drop in temperatures is expected as it shall tend to feel cold at night with 14-26°C Maximum/Minimum temperatures expected in Doha.
