Did you know that ANYONE can grab a Vodafone sim-card now? http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&subsection=Qatar+News&month=June2009&file=Local_News2009062424742.xml "Vodafone Qatar’s first shareholders can now reserve their numbers in person and pay in cash at the Diplomatic Club between 10am and 10pm until June 27." It's not official, but if you have a Qatari ID you can reserve a number. I've heard that quit a few people have done this already and you don't need to be a shareholder! Grab your sim card before anyone else!
