The Amiri Diwan announced on 25 May 2024 that the Amir Cup 2024 winning team, Al Sadd, and runner-up team, Qatar SC, were hosted by His Highness the Amir for a luncheon at the Lusail Palace.
The luncheon was hosted in honour of the players, technical, and administrative staff of both teams. A number of sports and media figures and representatives of sponsoring companies were also in attendance.
His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of the Amir, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, and His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, also attended the banquet.
