Geely, the largest privately-owned Chinese automotive brand, has launched one of its most technologically advanced SUVs in Qatar.

Skyline Automotive, the exclusive distributor for Geely Auto in Qatar and part of the Jaidah Group, introduced the flagship SUV, the Geely Starray, at a launch event in Doha on 24 January. Held in Downtown Msheireb, the chosen venue, celebrated for seamlessly intertwining traditional design and contemporary sustainability, reflects Geely's dedication to blending heritage with innovation.

The vehicle is a beacon of futuristic mobility, and a testament to the art of design, seamlessly blending futuristic aesthetics with celestial motifs. Geely Auto has utilized the world-class Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) developed at the China Euro Vehicle Technology Centre (CEVT) in Gothenburg, laying the foundation for Geely’s Global Industry 4.0 product development system.

CMA seeks to forge high-end, high-value, and high-performance products that are safe, mobile, intelligent, and well-designed. Boasting a new generation of skilfully crafted vehicle models with broadened appeals in multiple dimensions, it is poised to support Geely in designing and manufacturing top-ranking cars and becoming one of the most competitive automakers in the world.
