iPilot welcomes Qatar’s first Boeing 777 flight simulator to Doha, providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for people to experience first-hand piloting of a Boeing 777.
In the simulator located at the Villaggio, people can learn how to fly a plane, perform turns, climb, descend and navigate to their chosen airport anywhere in the world under the guidance of a pilot.
The professionally built simulator was created to fulfil the dreams of the general population who have lifelong aspirations of flying. With no experience required, the flight simulator allows anyone from six years and above to fly a large passenger jet accompanied by a trained co-pilot.
During the simulation, customers can take off from any airport of choice and climb up to 29,000 feet and descend over the world’s favourite airports such as such Heathrow, the ever challenging Hong Kong Kai Tak airport and St Maarten in the Caribbean.
“This concept provides new opportunities for corporate events, evening entertainment, school excursions and group events in Qatar.” Fabian Bloos, Manager of iPilot Doha said.
Wolfram Schleuter, founder and CEO of iPilot said: “I have been a private pilot for many years and really wanted to get other people to experience the joy and overcome the fear of flying. The flight experience ranges from 15 to 90 minutes durations with options of 30 to 60 minutes in the flight simulator. The Flight simulator will be open daily to customers from 10am to 10pm at Villaggio. iPilot offers discounts of 20 percent to children under 16 years old.
In celebration of the launch of iPilot, a 25 percent discount will be offered from March 10 to March 17 for anyone wanting to try the simulator (for adults only). iPilot is currently available in London, Munich, Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Prague with upcoming exciting locations later in the year in Dubai, Turkey, Zurich and Frankfurt.
