Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) yesterday kicked off the first phase of its annual ROTA Youth Challenge: RYSC Leadership Training programme, which aims to equip youth in Qatar with the skills to chart their career paths and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
As part of the first day of the training, more than 45 female and male youth participants attended workshops on numerous leadership and business management topics including Project Management, Social Project Foundation, and Business Plan.
Mr. Hussain Habib Al-Sayed, RYSC Leadership Training Programme facilitator, said: “The first day of the programme served to give participants a thorough overview of what will be required of them throughout the programme. In addition, the workshops provided them with a fundamental understanding of how to set up a successful social development project and put together a business proposal.”
Roda Al-Qebaisi, said: “I’m so grateful to ROTA and ExxonMobil for giving me this opportunity. I feel incredibly empowered knowing that the skills we are being taught will enable me to contribute to my community and make informed career choices.”
The first phase of the Rota Youth Challenge: Leadership Training programme, sponsored by ExxonMobil, will run until the 29th October.
