Central Market to get facelift

Doha Municipality is all set to give a facelift to the Central Market. The Municipality is working on a project for the renovation and expansion of the market. This was disclosed by Mohamed al Sayed, Director of Doha Municipality, while participating in Qatar Radio’s popular programme Watan Al Habib/Sabah Al Kheir (My Beloved Country –Good Morning) that took place in Doha municipality building. Replying to the queries Al Sayed said the cleaning employees are working in two separate shifts in the market. An office is also functioning in morning and evening shifts in the market, he said. Five petrol stations and service stations are operating around the market to meet the fuel demands of the visiting vehicles. The public, who has any specific complaints against the functioning of the market, are free to submit their complaints to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning.
