His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired the regular meeting held by the Council on 13 December 2023 at its headquarters in the Emiri Diwan.
The Council of Ministers approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Sports and Youth in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Sports in the Russian Federation for cooperation in the fields of physical culture and sports.
There were many other draft memorandums of understanding approved, which included a draft memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation in the field of museums between the Qatar Museums Authority in the State of Qatar and the Chinese Capital Museum in the People’s Republic of China.
A draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and education between the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the State of Qatar and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Djibouti was also approved.
A draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in supporting the digital transformation of the State of Qatar between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the State of Qatar and the United Nations University Operating Unit concerned with policy-based electronic governance (UNU-EGOV) was approved, and a draft memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation in the field of museums between the Qatar Museums Authority in the State of Qatar and the Chinese Capital Museum in the People’s Republic of China.
