Barwa Real Estate yesterday signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Sadeer Advertising Services to support "See Qatar", a new project founded by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote and market Qatar's economic sector locally, regionally and internationally.
Dr Youssef Al Horr, Deputy CEO of Barwa Real Estate, and Mohamed bin Nasser Al Attiya, Chairman of Sadeer Advertising Services, the exclusive advertising and marketing agent for "See Qatar" Project, signed the agreement at Barwa Real Estate headquarters.
In total, 900,000 "See Qatar" CDs and postcards will be produced and distributed free in Qatar and across the world in cooperation with the government and private sector agencies.
Addressing a press briefing, Dr Al Horr said: "The contribution of Barwa Real Estate in "See Qatar" reflects the strategy of the company in supporting and sponsoring the development enterprises of real estate, industry, commerce, health and education, both inside and outside Qatar."
The sponsorship demonstrates Barwa's active support to national projects in order to accomplish further achievements and open new horizons through local, regional and international markets, Dr Al Horr added.
Al Attiya praised the role of Barwa Real Estate in supporting and sponsoring important national projects that help in highlighting Qatar as a major destination for specialized tourism and investment.
"The 'See Qatar' project will attract investors and tourists by providing comprehensive information in Arabic and English about the commercial, recreational, sports, education, culture, health and investment opportunities in Qatar, as well as opportunities for exhibition and conference tourism," Al Attiya added.
Heballah Habib, See Qatar Director, said the product will provide information that will help an investor make a decision on any investment.
Initially the product will be in DVDs but will be provided later through the internet, he said.
