A group of artistes from Bangladesh arrived in Doha for an Eid concert today at Al Ahli Stadium, Bangladesh Cultural Forum president Mohamed Ohid Bhuiyan said.
The artistes are Sabina Yasmin, Mumtaz, Kumar Bishwajeet, current pop icons Tishma, Arefin Rumy, Pinky, playback singers Jahangir Sayeed, Hema, Kheyaly, child singer Pranti, filmstars Ferdous, Purnima, Emon, Joya Ahsan, Shuvo, Ahmed Sharif, television actors Mahfuz Ahmed, Nova, Faruq Ahmed, Siddiqur Rahman, Maznun Mizan, Syed Babu, Nadia, Rahi, Rumi, Babor, Mir Sabbir, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Sweety, Runa Khan, and models Mim and Sarika.
A music troupe is also accompanying the performers. The event will feature multi-member dance numbers and duet songs.
