The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) announced the start of registration for citizens wishing to perform Hajj for the year 1443 AH starts Wednesday, 26 Ramadan, corresponding to April 27, 2022 AD, through the website of the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs at www.hajj.gov.qa. The ministry confirmed in a statement on Monday that citizens wishing to perform the Hajj can register easily via the website, taking into account the requirements approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the applicant to register to perform the Hajj. The requirements include being at least 18 years old and not more than 65 years old and having received the basic doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs calls upon citizens wishing to register for Hajj this year to review all the conditions of Hajj approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before commencing the registration.

The electronic sorting process will take place after the end of the registration period for all those who meet the conditions. The Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs has allocated a hotline number (132) to allow the public to communicate with the Department during the blessed month of Ramadan in the morning during official working hours and in the evening from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. From the second day of Eid Al-Fitr, calls are received during the morning period from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the evening period.
