The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, announced the opening of Duhail-Al Gharrafa bridge and parts of the traffic signal which form parts of the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor project, 6 months ahead of the schedule.
Coinciding with the new academic year, opening Duhail Al Gharrafa Bridge & parts of traffic signal on Duhail I/C 6 months ahead of schedule, in presence of officials from #Ashghal, CMC & the contractor. The opening ceremony was attended by senior Ashghal officials including Eng. Yousef Abdulrahman Al Emadi, Projects Affairs Director and Badr Mohamed Darwish, Assistant Manager of Highway Projects Department. The new bridge is expected to improve the traffic flow in the area and will ensure better connectivity between various areas including Duhail and Al Gharrafa.
Al- Emadi said that Ashghal is proud that the project is completed ahead of the schedule despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the unjust blockade imposed on Qatar by the neighbouring countries.
