All people diagnosed with swine flu in Qatar have recovered fully and are leading a normal life, the Supreme Council of Health said yesterday. Qatar reported 14 confirmed cases of swine flu so far and a majority of the affected had come from swine-flu hit countries. All the patients were treated in Qatar and were being kept under medical observation. In most cases, the quarantine was lifted last week. The Council has now said that the remaining patients are also out of observation. “The departments concerned at the Council are following up the developments regarding swine flu (H1N1) closely and all health facilities in the country are ready to deal with any emerging situation,” said a statement issued by the Council yesterday. http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local%5FNews&subsection=Qatar+News&month=June2009&file=Local_News200906297140.xml
