In a tweet on 29 May 2022, the Ministry of Municipality (Al Baladiya) has announced that the Al Wakra Municipality issued an administrative decision to close Chandpur Restaurant, for a period of 15 days.
أصدرت بلدية الوكرة قرارا إداريا بإغلاق مطعم شاندبور، وذلك لمدة 15 يوما، لمخالفة قانون رقم 8 لسنة 1990 بشأن تنظيم مراقبة الأغذية الآدمية.

As per the Ministry, this was for violating Law No. 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control.
