The Ritz-Carlton in Doha has begun its Ramadan celebrations, offering guests the chance to enjoy a “lavish Arabic buffet” at the Lagoon Restaurant where Iftar and Suhoor will be served each evening from sunset until 1am.
A spokesperson explained that the buffet featured traditional Arabic cuisine with a hint of Western, and the evenings will provide guests with a place to relax in the “ambience of tradition and comfort whilst enjoying this important time with family and friends.”
“Guests will enjoy a large selection of Middle Eastern specialties on this delicious buffet presentation such as Lamb ouzi, shrimp brik, chicken and beef shawarma, chicken madrouba, mezze and vegetable saloona,” she said.
Executive chef, Matthew Morrison, chef de cuisine, Mourhaf Jumie and some 25 other chefs will be cooking at live cooking stations to accommodate even the most demanding palates, she added.
