The first Snow White Princess Diamond women’s watch valued at $6.8mn and made by the legendary Swiss jewellery and watchmaker Mouawad made its global debut at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) yesterday.
The diamond women’s timepiece was unveiled in the presence by international model and former Miss Universe Natalie Glebova, who made a special guest appearance at the Mouawad booth, wearing some of the jeweller’s statement haute joaillerie pieces which have made the brand a favourite of the region’s royalty as well as Hollywood’s A-List.
The diamond-studded wristwatch born of the Swiss watch-making excellence of Mouawad’s snowy Alpine factory is crafted from 18K white gold and meticulously layered with 233 colourless diamonds of varying sizes.
With a total of 106.93 carats, the Snow White Princess is another extraordinary example of the mastery, exquisite attention to detail and absolute artistry that the Mouawad name exudes.
“Mouawad is renowned for creating one-off items that use only the world’s finest gemstones and precious metals. The Snow White Princess Diamond Watch is a unique timepiece that combines our passion for the highest quality gemstones with 121 years of experience in design and craftsmanship,” Mouwad co-guardian Pascal Mouawad said while mentioning that after last year’s unveiling of the Guinness World Record-holding Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse, the company wanted to once again surprise and delight exhibition goers and make their visit memorable.
Another Mouawad co-guardian Fred Mouawad said: “Qatari women have a great appreciation for the very best in haute joaillerie, and own some of the most important and valuable jewellery pieces in the world - including some of the very finest and rarest pieces Mouawad has ever created.”

The Snow White Princess diamond watch, Mouawad jewellery collections and Objets D’arts will be on display at the DJWE stand number eight until February 26.
