The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced via a tweet on 21 August 2023 that 251 suspects who were working at massage parlours had been arrested for violating public morals and regulations concerning licensing.<

The Preventive Security Department conducted inspections with the competent authorities of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Municipality of Labour and Public Health, resulting in the violation findings.

All of the suspects are now subject to legal action.
