In the run-up to Qatar National Day, United Development Company, is finalizing at its flagship, The Pearl-Qatar, an array of gala festive activities that will bring Qatar alive during the National Day week from 16 to 20 December 2015. All activities are to mark this momentous occasion of the State of Qatar, which falls on December 18, every year.

As one of the Gold Sponsors for the National Day Celebrations, The Pearl-Qatar in collaboration with Qatar National Day Celebrations Committee will celebrate the National Day with a series of events that reflect the country’s heritage, culture, and traditions.

Among the most prominent activities hosted by The Pearl-Qatar during this year’s National Day celebration is traditional Qatari "Sword Dance" - Al Ardha, a celebratory dance that symbolizes strength and unity, where all visitors will be welcomed and encouraged to participate alongside the dancers, a true representation of solidarity within the community, whilst entertained by a series of dedicated National Day footage projected over an impressive and captivating water screen.

Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy tasting a variety of delicious traditional Qatari dishes at one of the many special tents located at 12 La Croisette in Porto Arabia, along with a dedicated tent for guests to experience Arabian traditions and hospitality with complimentary activities such as, henna, Arabic coffee and dates.

To keep our visitors warm, The Pearl-Qatar has allocated a Karak Tea Booth that will be offering complimentary cups of Qatar’s most popular beverage.

Revelers at The Pearl–Qatar on December 18 can enjoy celebrating in spectacular style with a stunning fireworks display that will breathtakingly illuminate the skyline of Marsa Arabia. And so, with all these exciting activities all over the Island, The Pearl-Qatar has given aspiring photographers the opportunity to take center stage at the various Photography Booths, to capture the magic and special moments throughout the festivities; which will be screened live for all guests on the Island to share in and enjoy.
