The Qatar Film & Film Distribution Company announced that the Katara Cinema, labelled as Qatar’s newest and most luxurious cinema, is open now for moviegoers.
The VVIP high-end state-of-the-art cinema is located in Katara Cultural Village with four VIP theatres. As per the Peninsula, the theatres are equipped with the latest technologies providing a great movie-watching experience: the screens use Christie Real Laser projectors for high-quality, vibrant images while the speakers use a Dolby Atmos sound system for the most lifelike audio experience.
Katara Cinema also offers exclusive private balconies for families or groups of four aside from its already luxurious seats. Guests may also order food and drinks from their seats! There are three types of tickets available: single seats; platinum for two people; and lounge for four people. All tickets are available for purchase at the cinema or online at Q-tickets, prices vary accordingly to type, starting from QR 185.
The following movies are now showing at the Katara Cinema: Easter Sunday, Bullet Train, There Are No Saints, Bahebek (Arabic), and Minions 2: The Rise of Gru (Animation).
